Top 5 Reasons People Avoid Adsense Ads
Here are the top 5 reasons why people avoid clicking on Google Adsense ads. Don’t get me wrong! I don’t blame people for not clicking on Adsense ads! I blame people for not clicking on Adsense ads even though they are interested in the services/products that are advertised but they’re not doing it from a reason or another. Ads represent the engine of the internet!
- Webmaster’s Adsense Ban Paranoia. What is Adsense Ban Paranoia? Webmasters that have websites or even blogs that are monetized with Google Adsense ads, avoided so much NOT TO CLICK on their ads. Why? Because something has changed permanently in their brain and in the way of how they surfing the internet! Webmasters NEVER CLICK on other websites ads.. even if they are seeing some very useful information for them or a service/product they could be interested to buy! They copy the link of the ad if they can see it (NOT with copy/paste as they could risk clicking on it) they enter the link manually in the address bar of the browser! This is so wrong.
- The fear of AdSense exchange networks. Blog administrators that have Google Adsense ads are so afraid of clicking on some other blog ads because that blogger could also come to his blog and clicking some of his ads too. They are afraid that this could be seen by Google as a way of arrangement with other AdSense owner or AdSense exchange network. Isn’t this terribly wrong?? Let’s say a blogger comes to my blog and sees an Adsense ad that promotes a service that he could need. It would be normal that he will click on the ad, but no, he will probably search for the brand name of that service on Google, or typing it manually in the browser. Google will never ban an honest webmaster that plays fair! Any Google Adsense bans comes only after a Google employee decides to do that! Robots just raise a flag if something suspicious and repetitively is happening!
- Old habbits. Old internet users that knew how the internet was before now are staying away from ads (especially banners). There was a time when most of the ads present on the internet where linking to spyware, malware, viruses, and other bad stuff. Come on people! Adsense is safe. If you see something useful don’t hesitate to enter! If not ignor them!
- “You’re rich enough! You dont need more!” Some people don’t want to help the webmasters to get “filthy rich”. If only this will be true… Yes, there are many people that believe that having any website with ads gets you a huge amount of money! As webmasters, we all know, if your not the owner of Google, Facebook or Twitter you’re probably not getting more than a small part of a national medium salary (and this is for an outstanding website). All other don’t make even the price of the hosting but it seems the people never lose their hope. And for the ones that don’t believe me I’m asking all the webmasters that read this post to write an anonymous comment with the amount of money they are making per month from their website/blog.
- “I don’t need ads!” Some of the people who navigate the internet decide that they will never need ads and install some ads blocker plug-in. This is just like they want to be half blind! This is a big mistake! All the free information present on the internet comes with a cost! Nobody asks you money for that but be honest and see those ads or any other type of advertising as this is the engine of the internet! Nobody force you to click on them, just see them and disable that Ad Blocker plugin now!
Attention! I don’t encourage people to click on ads randomly!!! This is very wrong!!! This is just an article presenting the top 5 reasons people avoid clicking on ads! And I just hope that the guys from Google Adsense won’t ban my account for this as I did nothing wrong. Yes, I also suffer from Adsense Ban Paranoia, it’s a terrible disease…

Personaly, i click on an Adsense ad only if their content looks good and i don’t think that webmasters are all rich when they have ads in their website! I have ads on my blogs and i’m not rich!
Nobody is rich with Adsense. Probably except Jeremy Shoemaker
Actually, not that really a fan of adsense. Everytime I get to visit any site, I see to it, that I’ll not be able to click any of it. Have known some of bloggers who has adsense on their blogs and I can really say that it’s useful though. They were able to gain money. But not as much as we think.
Thanks for the post,
Akia
