Final Thoughts: Princess Day is an overall strong batch of episodes that is at least vaguely thematically linked. I do wish that whoever curates these episodes would not have mixed up the chronology within the disc, robbing certain episodes of their context, but that doesn't completely detract from this solid crop of shows. If you're the kind of fan who prefers to stick to the complete season sets, then you already know to skip this. For the less obsessive, this set comes Highly Recommended .
About Adventure Time: Mondays at 7:30/6:30c. Unlikely heroes Finn (a silly kid with an awesome hat) & Jake (a brassy dog with a big kind heart), are the best of friends and always find themselves in the middle of heart pounding escapades as they traverse the mystical Land of Ooo.
Paul allison survival analysis pdf Paul allison survival analysis pdf Adventure Time is about two close friends: Jake, a wise old dog with a big kind heart, and Finn, a silly kid who wants more than anything else to become a great hero. These two dudes are all they have in the ways of family. They depend and lean on each other through thick and thin, they trust one another with secrets and look to each other for advice when problems get out of hand. More important than any of that, Finn and Jake crack each other up by acting like idiots and telling ridiculous jokes as they traverse their way across a massive and treacherous island seeking heart pounding adventure to pass the time.
Paul allison survival analysis pdf Resident Evil 2 (called BioHazard 2 in Japan), introduces us to two new characters. Leon Scott Kennedy is a rookie cop who is just beginning his beat in Racoon City, and Elza Walker, daredevil motorcycle stunt racer and college student extraordinaire. When the terror of the skin rash first reveals itself, the two find themselves in the police station, which you'd think would be the safest place in the city. When you have bloodsucking zombies on your trail, no place is completely safe from the threat of attack. Droves upon droves of living undead make their way to the hub, hoping to turn the rookie cop and college student into a late-night snack.
Capcom calls the Resident Evil games 'survival horror', which in practice means they're adventure games with a lot of fighting and the occasional shock moment. If you're not expecting the latter, they really do make you jump - we can vouch for that! Helping the atmosphere enormously are the sound effects and music, which create an uneasy feeling that something horrible is about to happen . It's a technique that's been utilised in films for decades when directors want to get the audience shivering with anticipation for the next fright, and it works just as effectively on a videogame.
Paul allison survival analysis pdf Resident Evil 2 utilises the expansion pak, and to stunning effect. With enhanced visuals, the real time 3D of Leon and his zombie friends is virtually indistinguishable from the incredible pre-rendered backgrounds, and moves slickly at all times. In high-res. it's also a lot easier to see your way (and make out lurking nasties) in the murkier areas of the game.

Resident Evil 2 is due for a Christmas release. How the PlayStation's story-advancing movie scenes will be translated has yet to be decided, but the N64's instant loading should at last see the end of those annoying waits to open doors!
RE2's audio provides excellent accompaniment to the visuals to create an atmosphere of dread. Poignant voices deliver the well-written, spellbinding dialogue. The music packs a wallop with symphonic orchestrations that make your heart race.
Speaking of Mitochondria Eve, PE2 ’s closest equivalent is an antagonist known merely as ‘No.9,’ a human who volunteered to become a cyborg-ANMC hybrid. He is an interesting character in part because of his presence and design. Despite pitting Aya and No.9 against each other as ‘hunters,’ the game struggles to re-create a strong foil relationship which was at the heart of the original. Mitochondria Eve can be boiled down to an evil creature with black and white motives, but audiences were exposed to the conflicting rationales behind Aya and Melissa’s mindsets and why this dichotomy was so pertinent to the game’s themes. I really wish No.9’s motivations were further explored because, with some more development, there was potential for a memorable character. It isn’t all bad though, as some of the supporting cast retains some charm, namely Pierce and Douglas who interestingly mirrors some of Maeda and Daniel’s personality traits, respectively. All in all the characters fail to become anything special and I found myself wanting to re-experience the original’s story instead.
